Rose Quartz is the best complimentary color of 2016
This 2016 year Pantone actually selected two colors: Rose Quartz and Serenity (light blue). I’m pretty much obsessed with both of the colors, but today’s post was mainly inspired by one, as you can tell by the photos.
What colors are feminine or masculine or gender-neutral? I believe that genders were created by the marketing as a result of the Industrialization and automatically same happened with the colors. In the mid 19th, the colors weren’t gender. Pink had only one meaning “Pink lovers optimistic and positive and they see the good in everyone”.So if you’re looking for a great neutral that will play with the other colors you want to bring Rose Quartz into your space.
I think colors come in many tints and shades, someone may love a light pink but strongly dislike a magenta so a preference for the color pink doesn’t mean that every shade of pink is universally appropriate.
Working Rose Quartz into your house is actually quite easy, it doesn’t have to be the exact color, a similar shade is fine.
I love to add some pink details to the house. It isn’t so pink that it stands out, but it reflects flatteringly on everything in the room.
Pink Quartz provides a clean, sophisticated backdrop, but also adds a nice warmth when paired with natural materials.
Always find a good complementary color. Pair blush and pink tones with other delicate colors, like gray for example. Pink and gray go beautifully together – you can see also another idea how to use these two colors together. My advice to you doesn’t be afraid!
